The above suggests that, as I have pointed out twice already in these forecasts, Sunday and Monday will be the more light-hearted and social days of this holiday weekend.

But it is appropriate now to pull back from the ecstatic predictions of joy and happiness, and be more sober. I know this is not pleasant, neither for me nor for you. But karma is a fact; G*d is a fact; and we need to shape up to our inner ideal soul-standards if we are to feel good about ourselves and our lives.
Even on a holiday weekend!

I don't know why I can't get rid of these blue lines in the text (if you are reading it on Blogspot). Sai Baba put them there! I mean it. I copied the text from him I wanted to post here at the P. S., and now I can't get rid of the blue lines from his website. But, interestingly, light blue is the color of Sri Aurobindo. I take it that both of them are posting a warning here. It may be an American holiday weekend, but there is no holiday for the laws of karma and good conduct. I am not preaching at you, but at myself. We are all in this together.

What it comes down to is, I have been studying the chart for the coming week--from Saturday July 2 through Friday July 8--and it is a good one--superficially! I could give a recital of all the good aspects, and they are wonderful. But I could also give a recital of the difficult ones, and they include the square between Jupiter and Saturn, now diminishing but continuing through July 21. It began in June 2015. It is a soul-testing aspect. We are not finished with it! In its "last gasp" it continues to challenge us deeply, perhaps even more than before, because if we have not learned the lessons it tried to teach during the past year, we have failed at a deep level.

You know where you have failed. If you don't know, you need to find out.
And that is all I am going to say for this holiday -- Holy Day -- weekend.

P. S.
From Sri Sathya Sai Baba:
Before the start of the Mahabharata war, at the advice of Lord Krishna, Yudhishthira and his brothers, went up to Bhishma, touched his feet, and said, “Grandfather, ever since we lost our father, you looked after us and brought us up; unfortunately, today we have to fight with you. Please give us permission for this battle.” Bhishma was very much moved that even under those terrifying conditions of battle, Yudhishthira was doing his duty and came all the way to seek his permission. Bhishma embraced him and said, “Even in the battlefield, you are observing dharma and it gives me great pleasure. You will be victorious in this battle because you are acting according to dharma. Those who protect righteousness (dharma) will in turn be protected by dharma.” Such is the highest order of regulatory conduct taught by Lord Krishna; ponder over this and wonder if we, as human beings, are observing appropriate rules and code of conduct.
