1 Stage: Danger seems everywhere, yet "seems" is a key, because with ordinary caution it can be avoided. What is your lot to do, you can do. Meanwhile a childlike side of you does not want to take much initiative unless almost forced to it. You learn how to be your own toddling individual in peculiar circumstances.
2 Focus: A homestead or place where you can take control of your living situation may beckon to you, or a friend may be thinking about that. There is a strong sense of adventure in carving out a happy living situation for yourself, with Mars and Jupiter conjoined in Cancer. Docile or tractable individuals could participate with you in this, accepting guidance or command.
3 Concern: Strength without purpose is rash, cutting down whatever is in its way almost with contempt. But you can be wiser than that, prudent in making yourself ready for anything while conserving resources. Although you do not initiate combat you are not afraid of it and so welcome it, feeling prepared as for a game.
4 Ado: People with strange powers come into your awareness. It might seem they are using them almost as play, devilishly, to see someone squirm. Or they use them to put on a show for themselves at least whether anyone else notices or not. If you come in contact with one of them you may not understand at all what he or she is doing.
5 Issue: People like to play in other ways as well. There is self-display through clothing or jewelry; vanity; cleverness in making others feel at ease for their and one's own entertainment. In doing all this you are justifying yourself through argumentation, as it were, or persistent persuasion, getting someone to "come out and play." Don't be shy; let's do this!
6 Resolution: Some order and planning could help accomplish the goals of paragraph 5. People want to act or participate with you and others if invited in a way which makes sense to them. This can be creative, as if painting a rainbow for them to chase. If it seems significant enough, it will happen.
7 Essence: An emphasis on home, family or community is positive. People are meticulous in doing what seems fun, friendly, and establishing community security. Children may be involved. You are patient, firm, and steadfast in whatever makes sense to you as natural, modest, linked with nature, doable and satisfying no matter how much time it takes.

*Defense without Aggression; Happy Frontier*
1 Stage: The "stage" as I write on Wednesday July 17 is: People reacting and re-reacting and over-reacting to the very predictable Zimmerman jury decision; people hyperinflating over the cover of Rolling Stone; children dead of horribly incompetent food poisoning in India; news about how police departments all over the nation are tracking license plates, putting one more dent into the notion of freedom and privacy; Putin and Obama playing a silly game of cat and mouse over Snowden; a black hole in space devours a cosmic gas cloud; and something funny is going on in your own living room or bedroom, isn't it? The human comedy can be outrageously peculiar while Mercury is retrograde.
1` Stage: The astrological "stage" for Friday: Things are afoot; there is motion, a desire to be in another place, maybe go fishing or swimming or boating or visit someplace nearby you haven't been before. There is a desire for a frontier; but one which permits one to lounge with a drink in one's hand.
2 Focus: Adventure is wonderful. The locale of it is thrilling. One would like to set up a tent there, or erect a shanty provisional to establishing a colony. The pioneer spirit is in the air. The open country is endlessly inviting, both in its wild state and as a venue for horticulture or a human colony. Beauty and harmony contribute to an elevated mind and spirit.
3 Concern: All this is not without danger. One has seen into errors, one's own and others'. One would like to sweep them away, and a covert furor within one is not so much anger as an intense desire to be over and done with weaknesses and limitations. There is resentment and passion directed at others; and at oneself, so one might feel the captive of someone's vengeance.
4 Ado: You have tools and implements you can use seriously or playfully. They are stage implements or a magician's hats and rabbits. You would not use them to hurt anyone; in fact you feel you want to be totally just and honest. You detect whatever is wrong in anyone's attitude and try to correct it. A friend remains a friend if you have to point out a fault diplomatically.
5 Issue: Ornaments, clothing and playthings may be harmless in themselves but could be an occasion for something going seriously wrong. Maybe they distract you from caring about your motions and put you in a danger zone; at worst an accident. Things and opportunities get dispersed through carelessness.
6 Resolution: Firmness is necessary. When you see what needs to be done for safety or for achievement, you can work with others directly and indirectly to get it done. People need to mobilize themselves. A new dawn is coming, a genesis of something better in your world. You need to cooperate with it by rousing yourself and others to appropriate action.
7 Essence: Meticulous attention to what is best will enable you to gain the most from home, community, friends, and possessions. A future generation depends on you to set up something good for it. This cannot be done through unnecessary fighting or warfare. Defense, yes; preparedness, yes; but quarrels should be avoided as much as possible. Destruction of something or someone one does not value can lead to destruction of something or someone one does value. Let's hope the happier potentials of paragraphs 1` and 2 will prevail.
