~Enthusiasm plus Wise Restraint~
Are there penalties for exuberant enthusiasm? "A house on fire" could represent the exhaustion of one's cruse of vital powers through feverish dedication to a cause. Yet it is good to have a definite purpose to which all else is subservient. The keyword is Zeal.
"A man of stout make, good proportions, and round rosy features, looking very merry, is dancing grotesquely." A delayed New Year's Eve party on the 12th Day of Christmas? "He lives to eat and enjoy himself; never troubles his mind with cares; the present is his all; 'Let me eat, drink and be merry, for who knows about tomorrow?'"
Or, at other times, contrary to such levity, "A man is standing on a rocky eminence with arms folded, in a contemplative mood." He is self-possessed, with entire confidence in his ability and the cause he has espoused. "Generally, he is right."
Perhaps he is "a haven of refuge for the weak and helpless; a protection to all in need of a friend." "A trilithon: two pillars of stone with a horizontal thwart and a strong iron gate." Within, there is peace and security; rest and satisfaction. He is reticent, just and self-restrained. The keyword is Defense.
