Lunar aspects, which are potent in influencing moods (moon>mood), are better today, but we face Venus's exact conjunction with Saturn, both square exactly to Uranus. That could add up to 'two bulls fighting' or make it seem that someone is a disagreeable fault-finder. 'He cannot talk without argument, and cannot argue without losing his temper.' Such a hypercritical disposition has been on display in Washington as well as in those moved by politics of any sort. In personal lives it can be a feeling that someone has abandoned one. 'A man on crutches' is not likely to represent physical infirmity except in rare cases but symbolizes the fact that one feels one needs support from someone or Someone. (At one point in my life I wore a button which proclaimed "Reality is a Crutch.")
Much that happens during a Venus-Saturn hard aspect is intimated by 'an old woman seated on a stool with a hooded cloak wrapped closely round her.' She is jealous and melancholy, isolated and envious, to the point of misanthropy. Such mood-dispositions could creep up on us. 'Bitterness and secret enmity poison the soul.' 'Let us study to preserve interest and sympathy in all that is human.' Wise words from Sepharial. Becoming more mellow, one might be as 'a performer of a mystery play,' that is, a semi-religious mystical drama 'which interprets the individual and his or her world to each other.' To act this out requires subtlety, a gift for 'dramatizing the variant and ever-stimulating potentialities of living relationship.'
The tendency toward skepticism of others' loyalty or their intentions could take form as 'a man unmasked' or perceiving what appears to be error or even malevolence in someone. Or it could be simply accurate impersonal analysis of character. 'Life becomes a laboratory for an immortal curiosity.' The obverse of this could be 'an old man vainly attempting to reveal the Mysteries,' or oneself feeling that one cannot 'get across' what one feels someone ought to understand. One might need to be pertinacious in finding the best way to awaken someone from inertia, or make real to him or her 'the uncompromising integrity of higher vision.'
