\High Spirits Defend Principles or Beget Alluring Play/

Four or five of the symbols used here, out of 1,080, mention bulls fighting, and they have been coming up repeatedly over the past couple of weeks, while Mars in Taurus the sign of the bull has ben square planets in Aquarius, and is now (most closely to Mercury and the sun but also with Venus). Today, not only 'two bulls are seen fighting together' but also 'a raging bull is stamping upon the body of its victim.' I see this in politics mostly, also to a degree in personal beliefs such as religious ones, and in some more personal matters of lifestyle. The fixed signs keep on thinking they are right, and we have seven of the ten planets in fixed signs. This is not an incapacity to change one's mind but a need for solid, overwhelming evidence to change it. One danger is that some think that their firm principles and fixed beliefs determine the facts, rather than being open to factors which contradict those principles or beliefs. Some bulls just do not know how wrong they are.
'A man beating an ass with a stick' carries the discord even further, to deliberate cruelty. Charubel says it can indicate savagery or criminality. Of this we need to beware, more likely in ourselves than in someone else, for cruelty has a way of sneaking up on intentions which initially seem harmless. (I pray daily for the end of cruelty in human minds and hearts, including cruelty to animals. "May there be kindness everywhere.") If the fighting merely is high spirits such as youth displays, we have instead 'a rug placed on the floor for children to play,' where hopefully romping will not be hurtful. A place (playpen!) where people of any age can mingle and refine their instincts toward congeniality could be part of your day.
At a more commonplace level there is 'a woman holding a bag out of the window' or somehow facilitating community life. Daily routines can be 'a ministry of service.' Things need to be moved around. Yet there is also a yen for something more alluring. 'A lady with rounded features, fair skin, auburn hair, deep blue eyes, is busy in front of her mirror.' Charubel does not mock this as vanity but says it denotes beauty in those of either sex, who will be much admired.
