The symbol 'an unexpected thunderstorm' comes up for today and I noted it before I saw the news that there will be a huge snowstorm in the northeastern USA Monday and Tuesday.  Thanks to meteorology, it was not totally 'unexpected' but perhaps some of its results shall be.  Such storms would be even less unexpected if meteorologists would take up the study of astrology, but I am not going to be the one to prod them.  Let them dwell in their ignorance.  I have given many clues to astro-meteorology right here in this blog over the past 21 years, but not one human being to my knowledge has noticed them, or if he or she has, has not been humanly decent enough to thank me for them.  A clue (which I have given many times before):  There are more really difficult, for human beings, weather conditions, including precipitation and storms, during the Dark Hermetic Epochs (I outlined the current one in Saturday's report).  That covers almost half the time.  Another clue:  There are more painful weather conditions, for humans, when either the sun, Venus, or Mars is square, conjunct, or opposite Saturn.  For this storm we have Venus conjoining Saturn by less than four degrees today, and the sun still conjoined to it by nine degrees.  Those who read this blog every day, and follow up clues I give, are getting an education in astrology.  Verbum sapienti sat est.  

Of course, those who just want indications for the day without learning astrology are equally welcome and probably the majority.  Also for Tuesday we have 'A dark somber curtain covering the mouth of a dark cavern in a rock,' suggesting shelter from the storm!  Some may in fact find such a place to be reclusive.  There they may gain solitude, mystical realizations, and hidden knowledge.

Although Venus together with Saturn, over the next 12 days (through Valentine's Day), is not considered good for love, it can be good for tried, tested, confirmed love, for tests of love which make love deeper.  Today Venus is in a degree Charubel symbolizes by 'the trunk of a tree covered with moss, and hollow' saying that this is 'a romantic degree' indicating 'one who will outlive the other members of his family, the last of his race' or in other words embody some romantic or touching tradition glorifying something with roots in the past.  If we escape the winter storm, we may dream of 'a ship in full sail upon a sunlit sea' and through such hopes form alliances productive of great good---affluence and distinction.  Such beneficent fortune swirls up from 'a catholic, cosmopolitan, adventurous spirit.'  

It seems unlikely that many shall feel like 'two lovebirds sitting on a fence,' yet such feelings could arise surprisingly and affirm the resilience of the human spirit's seeking for togetherness.  In order to circumvent uncertainties or confusions arising from the Via Combusta, one might make use of 'a book on which stand a compass and an hourglass.'  Space and time are conquered by the scientific or proto-scientific studies of a versatile mind.  (Such as the astro-meteorology I touted.)  Our lives are extended by discoveries we make through depth of thought.
