}Soulfulness Finding Itself{
Moon in Gemini
It's All Souls' Day, and there can be melancholy, keen sympathies, and thoughts of those who are invisible, as if we were "a young maiden weeping over a grave." Yet we carry on. Feeling abandoned could awaken energy in us, so that, like "a bull pawing up the earth" we push on to get our own way and feel anger at what opposes us.
With Mercury near its station and squaring Saturn, we are careful, and our "small cottage" is "surrounded by a thicket." We want to keep out ambushes or deceitfulness. Some will feel they are doing this by fighting off an opposing party or candidate. Defense is good as long as it doesn't degenerate into paranoia. At moments of worry we may think of our situation as if we had left "a blazing fireplace in a deserted home." Are the watchfires of America burning? Who is attending them?
Luna trines Venus in her own sign all day (exact in late afternoon-evening) and this could signify "the true lover's knot," so that we become affectionate and confiding with someone, whether or not our feelings are noticed or reciprocated. It may be egos which are strutting at "an embassy ball," but dramatizing our personal potentialities is not a bad thing. We display ourselves as if in a picture frame. We enjoy or imagine privilege. It's not impossible that true love could awaken even if playfully feigned at the beginning.
