When emotional suffering is intense, as it is for many, one has a tendency to retreat to "a cluster of faded exotics, very sweet and sickly to the smell"---to Cannabis, perhaps, which some call "weed;" to a decadent cocktail or three; and so on. Choose your sickly poison. It might help you forget the possible fact that you don't feel loved or loving in a realistic way.
But one has high aspirations and emanates a good influence on one's neighborhood and casual contacts.
Childhood summers come back in the symbol "Children on a swing in a huge oak tree." Sheer delight not based on money or stimulants or clinging to anyone for affection. The tree, sky, weather and motion are invigoration enough.
We care about practical matters too, but "Sea gulls watching a ship" suggests that we are waiting for them to reformulate themselves and provide something better---as would be appropriate during a Mercury-retrograde period.
We may be capable of "going it alone" for a while, independent and self-reliant. If we are timorous and retreat into luxuries we can hardly afford, still we care about someone else and could try to provide for her or him in some way respectful yet generous.
