I guess Pluto is definitely the planet of sex scandals. I say this because the only T square (very important configuration) in the sky right now is one with Pluto at point focus (at the center of the T square), with Mars on one side in Libra, sign of women in one sense, and Uranus on the other side in Aries, sign of males in one sense. Pluto of course rules Scorpio, the sign ruling the sexual centers and organs in the human body and also much of human sexual experience. So we have Libra, females, versus Mars, males, with their mutual focus on Pluto in Capricorn, which can be a sign of famous people or government people (Capricorn is the natural 10th house). So we have the skirmish of the sexes extending to two Senators at this point, or rather one would-be Senator and one who is now a Senator (Al Franken). It is all, it seems written in the sky, though I admit I did not foresee it weeks or months ago. Of course now many want to extend the battle to old stuff involving Bill Clinton and Donald Trump. I am happy that women are asserting their rights more fearlessly, through the #MeToo movement, and it seems that that was written in the stars as I pointed out in the forecast for this current month of Scorpio: I said that Venus in Libra, her sign, was the sole dispositor (controller) of the other ancient planets (anciently known ones, excluding Uranus Neptune Pluto). Yes, women are in the driver's seat and are making history and making changes in the way males see their behavior. All to the good.
At times I think, however, is this as important as the potential nuclear war between North Korea and the U. S.? Which could kill millions of us? Why are we not giving more attention to that? Rather, we choose to delectate or gossip endlessly on sexual indiscretions certain prominent males were guilty of twenty or forty years ago. That is important, and needs correction, but is it as crucial as preventing the destruction of our civilization and ourselves?
Pardon me, but I'm just thinking out loud. It amazes me that we just go "Ho hum, what else is new?" when thinking about what could happen with the apparent madman in control of North Korea, not to say the spread of nuclear weapons in other hands. I do not have a clear or definite answer to the problem but why is, apparently, no one thinking about it? Is Roy Moore's attempted seduction of teenage girls forty years ago more important? Pluto also has a lot to do with nuclear weapons, as does Uranus.
Perhaps some occultists would say that working out the karma between males and females and getting it straight and purified could make warfare less likely. Probably they are right. But is that all we have to do?
Friday: It's the final day of an Old Moon, which is not bad although often sort of low-key. Sometimes there is lethargy. But the rating for today is very high.
"A retired sea captain" fits in with the waning moon, the appropriateness of relaxation. One might feel very reserved, determined, and individualistic, not caring what "the public" or others think about one's life or approach to things.
"An inventor experimenting" gives cleverness in seeing practical possibilities. There could be useful research. This could be in the financial area or the medical field, or elsewhere depending on interests and needs. We should face difficulties straight up.
You could gain honor and recognition, ultimately, through sacrifice, that is, being resolute and brave, facing danger for the sake of others. This sounds like a military or medical career, but could fit something else you do which subordinates your own pleasure to the needs of someone else or the world. Others may find your motives inscrutable. Your internal stability is based on relying on your own counsel, which finally gains respect.
You gain distinction by associating with prominent or favored individuals, maybe only through media or observation, either learning from them directly or soaking up their success by osmosis. Impatience is likely, with a feeling that you just need to be somewhere you aren't, "a horse saddled and bridled, galloping away without a rider." The rider would be your knowledge and perspective gained from the individual or individuals just mentioned who are in some ways your guide or guides. Their influence could prevent you from ending up "nowhere."
