Law, maintaining a semblance of freedom.
A spade protruding from the soil hints at

The labors of a miner to whom nature's dark
Secrets have been revealed. Ignoring friends' advice,
He relies on an incisive mind and strong purpose.
A shepherd on the mountain top looking for the
/
Locality of his sheep with crook in hand will be
A commander of his flock, and a ruler indeed.
