A dark lonely pool overhung by wooded banks

Is a setting for philosophic musing; intimate

Communion with Nature. Understanding obscure

Laws equates to peace for the soul.

On the prairie, however, a storm sweeps, violent

And rash. It fells idols and desolates temples.

Wantonness ends in blighted hope. But somewhere

A little boy, nude, is blowing bubbles

Innocently, an ageless old man in disguise,

Whose personal amusement is deemed worthless

By those who don't see that he is a veiled

Prophet of power. He has unerring insight into

/

The bubble-motives of men and blows them where

True values suggest, demonstrating supremacy.
