I'll not moan about Mercury retrograde (till the 15th, Friday). You know the stories. At the hardest it is Delay and Confusion. At the best it is Retrospect and Spiritual Consciousness. It is generally better for internal than external matters. But the latter can be untangled with sufficient patience.
Monday: Because of retrograde or slow planets, three of today's symbols are the same as Sunday's The new one is "A strong farmer's cart, and a horse to match. It is loaded with farmyard manure." One holds one's nose to accomplish ordinary things amid difficulties while Mercury goes backward and Venus is slow. Not many are "scientific agriculturists" but all can be "frugal and industrious."
"A broken wheel upon the ground while a horse grazes nearby" represents Aimlessness or a laissez faire drift. There could be good fortune, yet it is precarious or perhaps lost. Of course, one could blame Mercury.
Fortunately, "A canoe in dangerous waters is approaching safety." There has to be "fresh and constant participation in life's transient situations" which are not dangerous if one possesses Competency, the keyword.
Venus sextile Mars opens into amazing appreciation of human contacts old or new. There are memory-treasures of links with family and old friends. They seem to come back in day-dreaming as if never absent. "The Mundane Cross" (within a circle) represents "a student of Nature's mysteries; a lover of the sublime; an author, or revealer of the strange and the curious."
