Through Monday the 18th, Mercury at its station (turned direct yesterday) occupies the degree "Four long posts forming a square: and four rails fastened horizontally to the top of each. It looks like the framework of some temporary building or shanty." It seems that we are coming out of the delays and confusions of Mercury's retrogradation by assembling the materials of a better dwelling or "shanty" for our hopes and plans. But in these early stages nothing may seem definitive. There should be more clarity by Saturday the 23d when the autumnal equinox begins a happier month.

"A subconscious fellowship with the eternal has its fruits in a freedom from unnecessary involvement in ephemeral affairs." The keyword is Recuperation.

The symbols remain the same as yesterday's minus the naked lonely man and plus: "Crossed swords, and over them a crown." There is an aggressive, even military flavor. One will overcome enemies, yet "peace will not abide with the man of war." We see this in Ukraine and Russia.
