Mercury turns direct at 1:22p PT | 4:22p ET | 8:22p UT, but the Dark (slow) Hermetic Epoch continues until September 30. Things can remain slow, requiring re\medial work or re\construction.

Through Monday the 18th, Mercury at its station (turning direct today) occupies the degree "Four long posts forming a square: and four rails fastened horizontally to the top of each. It looks like the framework of some temporary building or shanty." It seems that we are coming out of the delays and confusions of Mercury's retrogradation by assembling the materials of a better dwelling or "shanty" for our hopes and plans. But in these early stages nothing may seem definitive. Today could be the day things turn around, or more definitely Saturday the 23d when the autumnal equinox begins a happier month.

"Children are blowing soap bubbles." We are reassured through "the presence of the good and the beautiful in every least promising form of human relationship." We can "rise above childish things while yet clinging to childlike ways." The keyword is Enchantment.

Like "a ship in full sail," one could be "roving and fanciful, always on the alert for some new experience or sensation, some soupcon of romance and danger." 

"A figure like the angel of the Sun (Michael) stands erect and strikes the earth with the point of a dazzling sword." "In some sphere of life one will be an imposing figure, or do something calling for wide recognition. There can be fame, power, and superiority." That's laying it on rather thick, but at least we have light and angelic guidance.
