Convergences of trucks, cars, convoys, people.
It's like a relay race, the banner a red-and-blue
Flag, its reason a nation's fitness for values.
Two strong pillars enclose an iron gate
Opening to a refuge for the helpless.
On a sanctified desk lie an ancient hieroglyphic
Manuscript, retort, crucible of renovation.
A ferry boat awaits, navigated by
A teacher guiding across a wide deep stream.
He holds a rope reaching into the heavens
Down which pours esoteric information.
A moving refuge treasures inchoate values
Converging into a people's freedom chorus.
