}Ambitions Work Slow Magic{

It doesn't seem that I can ever write about the Dark Hermetic Epoch too often. We tend to forget it is going on. If you are reading this you are in the .000000001 per cent of the earth's population who know about it Congratulate yourself! and use the knowledge. Its duration this time was and is from December 29 through February 23, another two weeks. I used to hope that we feel things getting easier toward the end of the period, but now I think that there is a quantum leap from the Dark (Slow) to the Bright (Fast) Epoch. That will come in two weeks on Thursday February 24. I am finding things very slow, delayed, sometimes distressing, requiring much backtracking every day. I do things in an 'out of pattern way' and sometimes this is okay, sometimes disturbing, but always seems to be unavoidable. I am speaking for myself because I am not you, but I believe you must be going through the same thing. As for the world at large, one could point to the Biden-Putin-Ukraine imbroglio, which goes backward, forward, and nowhere by the day, and the vaccine mandate mess, which seems to get better, then worse, then marginally better, or to the Canadian truckers who have a legitimate grievance but no easy way of getting relief, and so on and so on. (Joe Rogan flip-flopping, etc.) I am moaning about all this because it definitely helps, rather than hurts, to know about it, and realize that one is not going crazy, nor senile, nor bonkers, nor are one's friends and neighbors going nuts, and that perhaps there could even be some hope for political matters getting better in a couple weeks or more.
I applaud those who keep on working and pursuing their tasks, ambitions, or missions during this difficult period. They have a lot to contend with, and grow stronger by facing the strangeness with as much perspective and courage as they can summon.

What 'an Eastern town' means depends on your situation. Perhaps something in your memory banks, or something foreign or domestic you ponder connected with a place to the east of you. Are there 'three men in a boat, two on one side, one on the other'? This is rivalry and opposition, perhaps playful yet sometimes serious. We learn from opponents when we keep it friendly.

He and we take pleasure in our work and could show 'executive ability, constructive faculty, and extreme powers of endurance so that our pathway to success is sure.' 'A tripod with a brazier issuing flames of fire' is said to represent 'chastity and purity of life' plus 'a restless and aspiring nature impelling to action upon a wide scale.' 'Alive to the higher ambitions of this world, he will nevertheless be zealous in the conquest of worlds beyond normal ken.'
Meher Baba had a planet at the degree 'a big bear sitting down and waving all its paws' and he actually looked like that because he didn't speak but used his hands to communicate, in very impressive and beautiful style, as if he (as God, which he claimed) were directing the world-symphony. A lesser 'bear' demonstrates his or her aptitudes in a dramatic way which gets attention. 'A fire worshiper' 'brings ideality to a point of miracle.' He or she 'enlists every resource of the world for the exaltation of self and the consummation of its ambitions' and that is magic.
