Challenges: "An untidy, unkempt man" may have a philosophy like Dioogenes', who lived in a tub on the streets of Athens and hardly ever washed himself. He was imperturbable because of his imperturbable thinking. "A man feeling his way over a bog" is trying to keep going despite uncongenial difficulties. If he falls he can recover. Mars and Saturn both retrograde, in their own signs, and at critical degrees show that many of us are facing severe challenges to our persistence or even our sanity. "Imperturbability" may be the right remedy.
Opportunities: Losing one's temper, or impulsively trying to use force rather than persuasion, is a possible problem while Mercury is opposite Mars.
