I woke up this morning (Tuesday) to the smell of smoke in my apartment. It is from fires in eastern Washington. The fires in California have been much worse. Mars square Saturn. I need say no more. Mars is in Aries a fire sign and squared to Saturn in Capricorn an earth sign. Simple? Clear? How can anti-astrologers be so wilfully blind? But I wrote about Mars square Saturn in yesterday's long-term report titled Getting ShipShape. Obviously it's not that everyone will have trouble with fires, everywhere, but it shows what can happen in areas susceptible to that problem. Some of its other meanings were covered in the report just mentioned.
Wednesday:
Challenges: Sun opposite Neptune. CEO Carter says: "He seldom realises his own motives and may in extreme cases even think that he is acting the part of martyr or saint when he is in fact gratifying his self-approbation." Michael Cohen? His book on Trump, Disloyal, came out yesterday. / There may be a gambling tendency. This person "thinks but slightingly of his best friends" (a Charubel symbol) and that could be Trump, though Cohen says that he (Cohen) still feels great affection for Trump. As for you, you can apply this to your own situation. We have not been happy with our friends while Venus has been square Mars and both in hard aspect with Saturn. People are pugilistic (no kidding). "Rock formations at the edge of a precipice" show the need for both competency and aplomb in time of crisis.
Opportunities: A nicer use of Mars square Saturn would be "felling a tree with an axe" when that is part of a real frontier life. We have to face our hardest issues in one way or another. Also there is patient research plus cupidity and cunning; rivalry and competition leading to partial success. "A snake poised to strike" isn't pretty but shows readiness to defend. "An engine room in a large steamer where men toil almost nude because of the heat"---that could be the victims of the fires. It is recommended that we "live very quietly." There is subtle wisdom or foreknowledge, as gained through "a ouija board"---informal divination or hunches.
Blessings: "A celestial choir singing" may be heard by very few, the elect who venerate the One the choir praises. "An old white-headed man surrounded by happy children" is beloved, kind, and benevolent toward the young. He (or she) guards them while dwelling in prosperity and peace.
