Elon Musk tweets that he will take Tesla private, gets all kinds of flack from everyone, then changes his story, and even now the whole thing is in limbo and the SEC is investigating. One wonders if he has REgrets.
Three women, and also two children of the third one, disappear under mysterious circumstances. (We have already seen that the first two of these incidents, Mollie on July 17 and Sam on August 1, occurred during a |karmically challenging third| of the week, and so did the disappearance of Shanann Watts on Monday, August 12. Check my forecasts and you will see that it is so.) (The latest: Ms. Watts and her children were murdered by her husband, who has confessed. There are more such crimes during the |karmically serious third| and probably during Mercury Retrograde as well. REvenge and REcrimination.)
Omarosa says she has tape of Trump using "n-word" but does not produce it and all wonder if she or someone has it to be REvealed.
Trump is REvoking security clearances of those he regards as enemies.
Fires in the West produce huge amounts of smoke so that today, as I write, Seattle is declared to have the worst air quality it has ever had. Yesterday it was worse than Beijing! Those fires need to be REstrained.
And on and on. But the critics of astrology say, "Ho hum, Mercury retrograde means nothing and those who believe it does are idiots!"

Dark Hermetic Epoch begins July 7 --> (Mercury goes retrograde July 16 --> Mercury goes direct August 19) --> DHE continues until September 2
The next Bright Hermetic Epoch lasts from September 2 through October 28
The DHE is not a "bad time" any more than night is. It seems like that to us only because we screw it up! It is intended to be a restful and spiritual phase in G*d's plan for us. Rather than use it restfully and spiritually, we spin around trying to make things other than they are supposed to be, oppose our personal wills to the Divine Will, and then complain that things are crazy. WE are crazy!
It does, however, seem that a lot of things beyond our control, even the weather, "go wrong" or are seriously challenging during these times. So we have to "deal with it." Of course I recommend prayer, meditation, and spiritual study. What else could help us? Watching Netflix episodes of cruelty, sadism, torture, death, crime and destruction? I don't think so.
Friday: Good taste plus many accomplishments lead to pleasure-indulgence. Enough is enough, not too much.
Superiority in intellectual realms of specialization has limits and is hedged about with disagreements (Mercury before, at, and after its station will remain squared to Jupiter until early September). Freedom may be dependent partly on study, teaching, or both.
Although Trump and other "strong men" around the globe seem indomitable, their leadership is being called into question. How long will luck uphold them?
Passions, emotions, and sexual allurements could be their downfall. These might be noticeable in someone who plays an overbearing role in your world as well. Yet he or she can get away with a lot, up to a point.
Secrecy in business has its place, yet some secrets can be retained for only so long. Forced opportunities have a dazzling appearance for a while.
People can hardly see their own sins or what appear as sins to others. They put a good face on everything and get away with it most of the time. People acquiesce and give them the benefit of the doubt. Who am I or you to apply "laws of karma" to them? Perhaps Jesus's "Judge not that ye be not judged" carries more weight than we realize.
