~Imperturbable Romanticism~

Moon in Cancer
|Karmically serious or challenging third| of this week
ends at 5:36a PT | 8:36a ET | 12:36p UT

The Dark Hermetic Epoch ends on September 18th and the Bright Hermetic Epoch begins on the 19th, and today I heard a spokesman for Florida Power and Light say that full service should be restored to Floridians by the 22nd. So in this case the Dark Epoch was quite literal for many of them! Fascinating.

Another thing that happens in the Dark Epochs is useless discussions and arguments going nowhere. There are proposals and counter-proposals, sometimes anger and argument about them, and then probably nothing is resolved. That has just happened over the past few weeks in one group I belong to. If you find it happening at work or in groups or family, realize that it is partly a symptom of the time-period and wait for people to have a less biased or confused outlook.

Thursday:
There is much power of perception, and a willingness to experiment and find better ways in whatever field of study or observation you attempt.

Some who investigate more unusual or "far-out" subjects (such as astrology or the occult) may perceive remarkable things which they seem unable to commit to paper, e-paper, or speech, except in words which will mostly be misunderstood because they have to be symbolic or metaphoric in order to stretch the minds of the hearers or readers.

One may be imperturbable, maybe to the point of self-obsession, not caring what others think, refining oneself inwardly. This could be the gruff unkempt genius pondering his internal treasury.

"A merry-go-round" is still with us, a happy cycle of connecting with all kinds of things, people, and potentials in a way which is diverting. At a deeper level it may be comprehending the cyclic nature of time and of human experiences within it. Let's emphasize the "merry."

"A ship in full sail" is a degree of roving, finding whatever one needs or wants, new experiences brimming over with danger or romance.

There could also be rude or rustic work, "a man felling a tree," but this is fulfilling and contented, with warm feelings toward all with whom or for whom one is working.
