Moon in Taurus-->Gemini
/moon is void-of-course
until it enters Gemini at 12:30p PT | 3:30p ET | 7:30p UT

We need to keep our bearings, astrologically, because this is the solar system we live in--just as the people of Texas and Florida have had to keep their bearings, meteorologically, because of where they live, listening to the experts, otherwise they might have suffered much worse devastation. As an astrological "meteorologist" I have to say, Heed the Dark Hermetic Epochs! And just as the meteorologists are telling, over and over, the people hunkered down in their homes and shelters in Florida to remember that the storm is not over and that the surge can be devastating, so they need to wait, likewise I am telling you, the Dark Hermetic Epoch is never over till it's over, and that will be September 19, a week and a day from now.

That means: Avoid prematurity in all things. Do not rush to do new things. Finish old ones. Take your time. Do not jump to conclusions (or jump into a storm). Wait.

As for the people in shelters or away from home, certainly the void-of-course time today, extending to late afternoon in Florida, shows that the experts are right: Don't go home yet.

Astrologers also need to "wait," that is, rather than jump into using asteroids and Chiron and dozens of imaginary planets, nodes and parts, use instead the longer-orb aspects of the major planets. Right now, Saturn has been at focus in a T square since August 26 (by ten degrees). It is the only planet at focus in a T square and it it the harshest planet of all. (To human appearance.) It is not an accident that Hurricane Harvey hit Texas exactly on August 26th, the day that the sun also began an opposition with Neptune by ten degrees. It is not an accident that those two aspects are still in effect while Irma hit Florida, and while people are talking about "end times." Astrologers, see these things. Look at the longer-term and larger aspects and be patient with them. They are trying to tell you a lot of stories you will never hear if you are studying the tiny aspects of tiny invisible planets, asteroids or points to one another.

Monday:
A long straight road ahead is a good thing, if you can make provision for traveling it smoothly, having all you need without upset.

Although on the defensive, you are aware of your superior strength.

Things are accentuated in good ways: "Chickens intoxicated." This is not an invitation to drink, which would probably be very unhelpful and even hurtful, but to rise above restrictions through an "intoxicated" or inspired frame of mind, ready for anything. Venus is sextiling Jupiter, a superb aspect bringing out enjoyment, but we could take it too far in deleterious directions.

The outlook is fantastic: "A man dreaming of fairies." This needs to be insight bringing a foretaste of achievement to be earned through activity (Mars has crucial, sharp minor aspects). The wonderful dream has to be translated into something practical through cooperative endeavor.

This is an anniversary of 9/11/2001, and the sun's symbol today is exactly what it was on that day: "Two men fencing with swords. A man in black stands aside watching them." (Osama bin Laden, in 2001?)  ". . . a predisposition to disputes and quarrels, involving a fracas in a foreign country or with a foreigner. . . . liable to hurts from secret enemies, his life overshadowed by a melancholy fate. Fighting. " I do not know how that symbol from Signor Borelli, given in the 19th century, could have more accurately described the events of 9/11/2001, though Borelli knew nothing of airplanes or reinforced steel towers in his day. What does it mean for today? I don't know. Maybe, avoid pointless quarrels or anything which could end tragically.

There is intuition and foresight, concentration and good memory. There is diplomacy plus penetrating insight into character. Use them wisely, and Jupiter's position can bring equanimity plus harmony, even some wary popularity.
