Mercury turns direct at 4:31a PT | 7:31a ET | 11:31a UT, but is still moving very slowly while at its station, and will not reach the speed of the sun until September 12, a week from now, while the Dark Hermetic Epoch shall continue until the 19th.
Have you been arriving at some slow, relieving, internally satisfying realizations, conclusions, or understandings over the holiday weekend? That would be a natural result of Mercury's arriving at a station while retrograde, then turning direct as it does this morning. It is a sort of cessation preparing for a rebirth, such as the insect's chrysalis stage. We are still working our way out of that chrysalis, our wings not fully formed, so it is good to be patient and unhurried while we get our bearings.

You may have been thinking about some injustice involving either a child, a childlike person, or yourself, "A wolf carrying away a lamb." This need not be a tragedy, just something to beware of, that is, being deceived by cunning, avarice, or cruelty. It may involve something connected with your home or living situation. We want to be appreciated and popular, and so do others, at the cost of giving up something else which might be more important.
There is retrospection, or reliving experiences in memory, which is healthy at this point. It might involve a sister, brother, or other relative; or a friend at a distance. Someone noble, kind-hearted, and proud is on your mind, who feels good about himself or herself while yet overcoming less-than-helpful habits.
A portrait of someone, or imposing photo, or mental image of someone's head, could stimulate you to appreciate her or his character. This could be a father-figure whose influence on you is helpful. He has been laborious, honest, and fair, restraining his "wolflike" impulses (paragraph 1) which he may have had to overcome.
For pleasure and satisfaction you might wander a little, as if an explorer, looking up to the sky often for whatever signals or reassurance might be offered there. We are examining our principles and wanting to live in accord with them, and can do that in a constant way which brings out our gifts and accomplishments without intense struggle but as a natural result of unhurried careful thinking. Easygoing enjoyments ensue.
