Staying focused on your own needs and interests is not a bad idea. If these require doing what seems to be a duty, that is all to the good because it will free you from worry or guilt.
Self-love is possible, but this goes with artistic sensibilities and talents. People sense what is going on in the immediate environment and respond to that with elan. Some care to be hospitable toward others in a generous way which requires them to discipline themselves for the sake of those on whom they bestow favors.
There is vacillation in love or affection. You may think you are relating to one person when that person starts to dote on someone else, and then you feel abandoned. Or you may change your affections, without realizing, it, and leave someone else in the lurch. At worst this could become cunning selfishness which offends those who see you as predatory.
The ancestors, or spiritual antecedents, you believe in are with you. There is no need to feel bereft when you can rely on their subconscious guidance. Sometimes they may be aggressive, mobilizing you toward conquest or achievement vanquishing any opposition.
Things tend to go around in circles. You return to where you were before. These repetitions put your life in adjustment with progressive reality. The old does not defeat the new but supports it. You investigate potentials fresh yet reflecting the familiar and reassuring.
Someone precocious, whose charms are in full blossom, may disappear behind the window of his own room in his own tower. That is because she or he has abundant gifts which he or she does not feel have to be displayed: they are sufficient unto themselves, and so this person is happy amid the children of her or his own genius.
There is a lazy, self-indulgent tendency. "Why worry? I have enough to eat and drink." But this is not enough. We have a need to be noble, of pure intention. We triumph over obstacles through soul-infusion and soul-splendor culminating in soul-triumph.
