Purposes are obscurely social yet mostly personal, that is, you feel you need to put yourself first. You are willing to be bold and forceful in order to be free.
Those who are striking in appearance may seem almost military in demeanor. They like sports or video games. There is a desire to be on the move, yet also a sense of isolation, as if no one would agree with you about much.
There is relief in comedy. You could be around those who like to imitate others humorously. With that goes a sense of rebellion; a need for liberation; so that you are defiant in the face of restrictions. You repudiate loyalty to things or groups which no longer make sense to you. That could be temporary, while you regain your bearings.
We have our individual needs and interests. Those seem to predominate. Obviously we have to live with other human beings, so there can be a sports-like or game-like attitude toward them, with laughter when tensions are released.

P. S. It is interesting that military symbolism and references came up in the above, because I was not at all thinking about Veterans Day when writing it. One of the symbols was "A deserter from the navy." It is good to recall and appreciate the heroism of those who served either gladly or unwillingly in armed conflict from which their sacrifices were intended to save us.
