The results of the election baffled the pollsters, and I got it wrong here also, unless we use the popular vote tally, which gave Hillary the win. I have spent many hours this week reviewing the data and figuring what went wrong. I did not use the birth-charts of the two candidates, that is, I did not look up their progressions, or transits to their natal planets. I merely used other factors based on general knowledge about them, as it tied in with the current aspects. It's a method (using also their sun-signs, Gemini and Scorpio) I have used successfully often. But this time one of the field systems gave Hillary the win and another field system gave it decisively to Trump. It was a conundrum, but I went with the general sentiment of the polls and my own predilections.
After reviewing my methods, I believe I have improved them, so that I would have seen the Trump victory more clearly--but admittedly that is hindsight. Meanwhile, I use the "new and improved" method of weekly charting here:
One question is whether we are ready for a boon destiny at this point, or if the world is ready for it. We may feel innocent and childlike, wanting to amuse ourselves, after the stress of last week.
Bold adventures bring troubles, it seems; yet a poetic, kindly, gentle disposition, willing to please and succor all, could be a palliative. Adventure is less dangerous when shared with friendly companions.
Nobility and pure intentions have their rewards. Some of those could be in the form of relief from struggle, as in music, dancing, and entertainment. It doesn't matter how refined or professional that is as long as it lets one unwind happily.
Seizing advantages is not necessarily wrong when it is a natural part of one's well-being. One has to know what one desires, and go for it, rather than spill out energies in uncertainty.
Someone who has always been quick to learn and teach could inspire you. Her or his intelligence and natural sensitivity lead to transcendent insights, invoking brilliant gifts which may or may not be appreciated in this life, but shall be in the future.
Dancing in circles of enjoyment is not always decadent, but uplifting. Life has to be fun sometimes. At other moments, analytical and precise study or experiment bring salutary results.
Finding fault with people and fighting with them is not a happy occupation. One may have to do that to a degree, but it should be moderated. Some can be selfish and cruel, unknown to themselves if they are not self-aware.
Slow and careful methods designed to win something at a distance or in the future can be successful ultimately. Such success is begotten of whole-heartedness and concentration. And those traits are fostered by true affection and devotion. You may bestow those upon one object or person, and find that he or she is then your magical ally whether or not your affection is obviously reciprocated.
You could feel vain at times; which is not a terrible sin if it gives you the confidence to meet the world manfully or womanfully. There is a tendency to self-indulgence, as in overeating and otherwise slacking off. If aware of that, you could at least mitigate it.
An ingenious and inventive gift of yours serves others. They may take advantage of your skill and service without offering much in return. Still, love rules the world, and Jupiter in Libra is good for easy, smooth connections with people in surprising situations. Even if this sometimes seems frivolous or insincere, it is most likely harmless. Be willing to be deceived by someone if that deception gives you happiness. We cannot tie one another down except in perverse fantasy. So we accept and enjoy companionship when and as it arises, and let the morrow take care of itself.
