~Past Bankruptcy to Musical Hair~
|Karmically difficult or sobering third| of this week continues (until Thursday late afternoon) ** |
People have been telling me how bum they feel, how down their moods and lives seem to be. One friend posted on Facebook that it was a new low for him. Another said that the day of David Bowie's death should not have had four stars. I admit that the four stars were rather rosy. Never underestimate how much havoc Mercury Retrograde "causes"--although really I do not say it causes it--We cause it collectively because we don't know how to respond to it. Today, in the trivial area, I had enormous and numerous computer problems, nothing loading as it ought to, it seemed. I could not even load David Bowie music into my Spotify playlist. That was a time-waster. Friends seem off in their own worlds, and suffering, and not wanting to say much because what they want to do is burst out in curses and they are too polite for that. Not only MR but Venus conjunct (or in hard aspect to) Saturn--those two astronomical events, as I saw decades ago, seemed to account for all the worst phases in my life, with no need to look at my birth horoscope at all. We go through it together. Last night on a friend's Facebook page a chorus of a dozen people concurred in his "Ain't it bleak" sentiment.
At the risk of being Pollyanna I have to say that we should be trying to use the double trine of Sun-with-Mercury and Jupiter, in earth signs. It should be good for business and income in one way or another. It might seem like two steps back and one step forward, but before long it could be two steps back and three forward. Voila!
There is a creative trend, for those who want to use their talents and expand them. Trying when down is a key to getting up.
Mars trine Neptune could be spiritual solace and pleasant dreams. It could be an understanding of how to link one's daily actions with one's spiritual ideals in a way progressive and fruitive.
The eloquence of the speaker was magnified when he played
The piano, interspersing comments with arpeggios. The Wall
Street types in the club were thinking about market prices,
Though one wanted to save his friend from bankruptcy.
A man with painted face, hair teased and colored,
Got past the doorman by saying he was an entertainer.
A guest in his forties felt he had hit his stride at trading,
Heading past that strident hair to a smoking room.
The would be-entertainer sat on the piano and sang while
The pianist doodled, trilled, and riffed. That hair now
Luminous with floodlights symbolized to some the gold
After which they rushed in their Wall Street lairs.
