The Dark Hermetic Epoch remains, until February 14, and the center of it, the Mercury Retrograde period, remains until January 25. So we may feel a little loose or negative in our planning, a little doubtful about much, and annoyed by things which, or people who, seem recalcitrant. However, Mercury itself has basically good aspects, moving away from its square with Mars and toward a renewed trine with Jupiter, which indeed will last until the end of this Epoch (February 14). So we may find this MR period a little less painful than it often is.
Venus is also moving away from her square with Neptune and conjunction with Saturn, though slowly. Whom do you feel separated from? With whom have you suffered peculiar misunderstandings? Those may still be there, but lessening by the day. In fact, Venus's good aspect with Mars, always a sustained pleasure, begins just when Mercury turns direct on the 25th. We may be in a gradual "healing" phase from now until then, and at that point feel that much is on a happier basis, including our love lives and friendships.
Meanwhile, today, business seems to be accented favorably, or your career, or some project you care about. Sol's trine with Jupiter shows a sustained focus on work or a determination to get things accomplished. Much of this has been "tied to you" for a long time, because both Jupiter and Mercury are retrograde, but you are working through it successfully even if with constant review and reconstruction. That is heartening. I am granting four stars today, just in case we can make the most of things.
Venus's trine with Uranus, as she moves away slowly from Saturn, could be "love" or attraction of a thrilling sort, especially today because Luna is in Aquarius the sign of "brotherly love" or "sisterly love" or often love that is within one sex or the other (although it can also be "straight" inter-sexual love, with a lot of freedom given to the loved one). Surprising infatuations spring up, no? They may "go nowhere" yet be fascinating and harmless while they last. This could be specially true today because Luna is sextile Venus on one side and Uranus on the other. There should be easygoing friendliness and camaraderie. If you don't find it "here," look "there," or let it emerge no matter where you are or whom you're with.
