I don't want to be morose, but there are challenges today. Using our spiritual strength and our submission to the will of the Highest will get us through. Depending too much on our own limited thinking or presuppositions might seem to go nowhere.
In other words, perceiving the obstacles to our hopes is important in overcoming those obstacles, and doing that is facilitated by a reverent attitude to the One greater than ourselves and greater than the obstacles.
Mercury conjoining the sun, gradually, exact on Thursday, marks the center of this Bright Hermetic Epoch (June 27 through August 27). I repeat: It is good to think about your long-range plans and what you have learned about them in the past few weeks. You may be at a plateau of certainty or clear realization of how to proceed with your practical affairs. (This could apply to more internal or spiritual matters also.)
The day's lunar aspects may make you doubt the above paragraph. Yet something deeper in you can sense how to persist past temporary clouds of doubt or confusion.
The marriage ceremony proceeds while a man watching writes in a notebook,
More than one handwriting. Painting with words, he sees into the character
Of the bride and groom and might report something unsettling.
He thinks they will run into misfortune and then take up farming.
The horse is free, dragging its cord behind it, sniffing the air.
Ahead of it sits a house with wide-open door and friendly
Occupants. A hospitable party proceeds. Meanwhile the farmer,
Forgetting the horse, drives his cattle toward the barn.
There is a feast, and colorful costumes. Friendly villagers assemble.
But two of them, darkly furtive in motion and expression,
Are apprehended by the local constable and his force.
Those who believe in their innocence affirm their loyal support.
