As I write on Tuesday I see that members of Congress have not yet an agreement on the budget and debt crises, and are postponing it for Wednesday, when the moon will be void-of-course all day. Brilliant. Of course they ought to be reading Cosmic Piper. Perhaps they will reach a temporary agreement today (Wednesday, the deadline) but I doubt it will seem satisfactory to anyone. If anything will save them it could be the trine between Mercury and Jupiter, helpful for business agreements.
Discretion and emotional control are required, to deal with tangles involving deception. Someone may have deceived you, intentionally or unintentionally, or appeared to have acted trickily or not entirely in good faith. You may have to deal with questions of diet and adjust them wisely for health. Someone who appeared to be a great leader may have "clay feet" which you discern, yet his good qualities remain to be admired (Mars opposite Neptune). His integrity supports yours. "Making do" with what comes to you is an attitude you may feel--just so much and no more, for now. The strategies of a military leader (more likely past than present) may interest you. Nobody is happy that some die in the course of battle. When will humanity decide to end all that?
You may have isolated feelings combined with bitterness toward some. Pride could make enemies, so it is well rather to make allowance for human weaknesses. The square of Uranus and Pluto makes us feel we want instant transformation. All the wrong paths to that (violence, drugs, etc.) should be self-evident, so then there remains only the spiritual plane for the transformation. Many are awakening to that fact, hence the popularity of self-improvement programs of all kinds. Fine human sentiments are not eliminated but uplifted even further toward the ideal. Balancing and reconciliation are constant; when mastered, they do not feel burdensome.
Some accomplishments in your career field are encouraging. Your business head is sound even if dealing with restrictions. Mercury trine Jupiter is good for business and accounting, financial planning. However, in a Dark Epoch any grandly new or unusual business scheme probably ought to be postponed (till the second half of November or later). (This might be specially true today with the moon void-of-course.) You will see how to handle delays and explore financial paths, rather than jump into anything utterly new. You can be thrilled with rewards of ordinary work; you see that it develops your character. Impatience can be calmed rather than allowed to turn you into a mad bull. Failed ambitions are merely a prelude to something better. Studying one's birth chart anew is always wise at a point of challenge. One has been dealt, at birth, just the right hand to play throughout life.
People overcome youthful extravagance and settle down to a work which feels like a mission, eventually. That could be happening. You may see how to "work" your favorite interests to yield income or security or at least allow you to carry on as at present. There is shrewdness in all this (Mercury with Saturn in Scorpio and Mercury septile Pluto); you are nobody's fool. Dangers can be dealt with so as to prevent injury. You can be becoming what you really want to be at your deepest spiritual level of will one with the divine Will.

If you feel people are suspicious of your motives or doubt your sincerity, welcome to the club. It's Mars opposite Neptune. There is a grey or foggy (Neptune) area where people are unable to determine simple, precise, indubitable boundaries and answers, and so anyone and everyone may seem a little shady or questionable in what they say, do, or do not say or do. Sometimes, you feel, it's better not to ask. People feel impetuous when frustrated and could (moon in Aries conjunct Uranus) go off half-cocked, although they may not cause much damage. We gather and preserve what we can from peculiar situations. When people scuffle (Congress?) they are unsure of themselves. Yet there is a sensuous factor which could erupt surprisingly, someone in your environment who is sybaritic and voluptuous.
A square between Venus and Mars has been with us since September 9 but is destined to end Friday afternoon. That is good news. Meanwhile we may see its final effects, consisting in not-happy romantic situations, that is, often the total absence of them, or hard relations between the sexes (or lovers within the same sex). Yet there can be charm and attractiveness in many, which you may appreciate fully while the moon trines Venus. A sunny scene with flowers or autumn colors could please you. Heartfelt sentiments are not absent even if felt as unrealistic. You struggle to make adjustments with your situation so you can both be yourself and conform to what others expect.
Venus trine Uranus is good for friendship and Platonic love. Someone with a spiritual, religious or humanistic orientation could be good for you. She or he is trying to belong spiritually to Something or Someone, no matter how uncertainly. There could be prominence and reward ultimately for such an one. There is a love of the harmonious, perhaps of music which tries the impossible with inadequate methods yet succeeds partially.
You can perform the service you have chosen for the world. This is a magical cure for most ills. Even if you feel what you do is invisible, there are those who will appreciate it. Pleasures of the senses are also evident, and you can balance these with your work one way or another. "You can have it all" is temerarious advice but has relevance. Ultimately you may want to be selfless, but along the way you walk on the desires of others and yourself as stepping stones.
