Week of April 1-7, 2023

Defending or organizing one's home could be important. One wants it to be meticulous. "Game birds are feathering their nests." "A strong iron gate within a trilithon" suggests "a haven of refuge for the weak and defenseless and a protection to all who stand in need of a friend." We are guardians of that over which we have provenance.

Human relations are less intensely disturbing than last week. Yet one may feel ill-used by some who seem to be escaping responsibility, as if "crows in the bed of a dried-up riverbed," "wayfaring and deceitful men." The sadism of "beating an ass with a stick" is to be avoided. When kindness is under strain we need to refurbish it.

On the optimistic side, "Steps up to a lawn blooming with clover" indicate "intuition of divine reality as one entrenches oneself in beauty and order." Spring is a time for hopefulness. "A strong and prosperous-looking man extends arms, holding in his hands a bowl full of wine." Many will be generous and hospitable, steadfast and sincere, consciously meritorious. By the end of the day or of the week, "Brownies are dancing in the setting sun." "The dance of life is an unending rehearsal and exhibition of every special capacity of selfhood." That is invigorating.
