Message for Wednesday 7 March 2023

Tuesday 7 March 2023

\Adventure/

Is Mercury retrograde? No, but to me it sure feels like it. Why? It dawned on me a few hours ago when I was struggling with glitches and online problems, several at once. Mercury is in Pisces from March 2 through 18. On one hand this is good, ending the dominance of Saturn as the major dispositor of the other planets. Yet in Pisces Mercury is not only in its detriment but in its fall--Pisces is opposite Virgo, the sign Mercury rules and also the sign of its exaltation. That means that Mercury's position in Pisces is the only planetary-zodiacal position of both detriment and fall. And I have seen that some individuals born with Mercury in Pisces in fact seem to have problems with writing, technology and communication. Yet they may be very good, spiritual individuals. Mercury in Pisces is good for the soul but maybe not for the "lower mind" of everyday manipulation of letters and numbers. I know of two individuals born with Mercury in Pisces who had enormous spiritual wisdom but seemed to express it in odd or even incompetent language which turned off many who were not patient with that.

Tuesday:

A military office on his charger, with sword in hand,

Rests on the top of a hill as if on the look-out.

He could organize and command a multitude.

A deep red star rises quickly past the ascendant,

Virulent, causing the eruption of desires and passions

Not good for health and longevity. "Overcome these elemental

Promptings to secure a long, prosperous, happy life."

One might undertake a rough journey, belted and armed,

Fond of discovery and adventure. An inquisitive pioneer,

One travels on new roads of knowledge and research.

By nightfall one may chance on a country scene, a barn

Decorated for a dance, and relax with the common folk

In the richness of gregariousness. There's happy give-and-take

While all plunge into experience without reservation.
