Message for Wednesday 29 March 2023

~From Wildness to Self-Assurance to Comfort~

From Monday's forecast-meditation, day of the killing in the Nashville school:

Two contending armies are in deadly conflict

On a battlefield. [Christians versus "trans" people.] Soldiers could be close to death. [Two police officers, Rex Engelbert and Michael Collazo ]

Others have cause to grieve over their own

Conduct. [Audrey Hale] It would be wise to suspend one's mind

/

Above a vast level place for an overview of

Experience in advance of involvement. Through

Poise one escapes random compulsions, preserving

Free choice. [The killer ended her/his "free choice" by NOT "suspending his/her mind above a vast level place for an overview of experience in advance of involvement."]

And so who can say that my forecast was wrong? It was not all sad. It concluded:

In the lodge at night a right angle and plane
/
On a table mark justice, rectitude and strength--
Fraternal or sororal graciousness and peace.

This was literally true for me because I went to the Seattle Theosophical Lodge where we had a gracious fraternal-sororal discussion of esoteric and psychological matters. The "right angle and plane" were a self-made Tarot deck one participant brought, used for a basis of sharing.

The Tuesday report was even more apt, for the 'day after" the tragic murders, when many were sadly considering, or blaming, or praying:

Quick to anger, he is surrounded by others also seeking

A quarrel. Opinions fly like missiles. Rash and impetuous,

Many fall victims to dangerous imprudence.

One lies helpless on the ground, bleeding, while angels

/

Encourage him to pray for soul-fortification,

To God for help and guidance.

I do what I can. I do not like these "difficult" degree-symbols but they can be red flags and aid us in directing our consciousness toward the better.

Another observation: The murderer was 28 years old. Do you remember what I have said about that here, more than once? The age 25 to 30, inclusive, is the "age of crisis." I derive this not so much from astrology (though the "Saturn return" occurs within that time-frame) but from observation and news reports. People 25 to 30 years old are the premier age group for suicide, homicide, accidents, arrests, and so on. It's a mistake-prone six years. Or, at best, it can be a time for intelligent experiment rather than throwing away opportunities.

Wednesday:

/

A man bundled up in fur is leading a shaggy deer.

The animal would rather hold back to what it knows

Than press ahead to a cold unknown, but its master

Is indomitable. In a jungle a white cow and bull stand together;

/

Behind them a tiger is ready to spring. Advantages

And prosperous marriage make some falsely secure,

Relaxing into ruin and sorrow. One man stands on

A lofty place, his arms folded and head erect,

/

An able friend endowed with courage. Proud,

He gains his ends through temerity. At least himself

Adores himself. Others are drawn to a very large

Ballroom with music, dancing, singing on the

/

Program. Amateurish? All are active, amused

After a cold trek to a warm venue.
