Although the symbols making up the poem are somewhat forbidding, a sextile between the moon and Venus on one side, the moon and Uranus on the other, is very sweet, providing backup for any social adventure you may desire.

A broken hammer lying on a carpenter’s bench betrays
Backwardness, bluntness, no executive power.
Why not take a nap? Sleeping beneath a tree feels good
Until a swarm of bees inhabiting it sting the intruder.

Finally he takes up a knife to edge, engrave, and
Carve. Dexterously he employs the tools he owns.
Out on the ranch he uses a stock-whip to retain command,
Gentler to his cattle than the bees were to him.

Her grandmother a woman suffragist, she now takes up
The cause of women’s rights with reasoned indignation.
Suavity works sometimes, yet still she has to climb
A rock in a lightning-storm to dramatize the need

Of rethought sexual politics. Force of character
At last brings perilous adventure to success.
