Superior to them maybe but resentfully questioned.
His smart phone lights up with orders from someone above him.
A worker’s phone rings, summoning special service.

Two prim spinsters divorce their opinions from moods
To maintain equanimity in their insulated world.
On a table lies an old book with a lamp.
Mental conquests open out luminous thought.

The light of a lamp or that of a laptop procures
For a busy mind what busy bees give their owner.
