Challenge: The Mars-opposite-Pluto aspect, exact today, does not have to be like 'an automobile wrecked by a train' but it could cause the dispersion of factors which are inimical to each other. That's happening in politics and in health laws. We need control, or 'the assurance that it is not necessary to continue any action to the point of self-cancellation.' These harsh Mars-Pluto aspects have been noted in the charts of those suicidal. Let's not go there or anywhere near there. 'A storm in a canyon' puts the blame on Nature, through a momentary intensification of harshness, but 'Nature dramatizes our unleashed powers, or our ability to rise in supremacy over each momentary crisis.' That could be a clue to overcoming any temporary health issue, for example.
Process: Were one to choose a pacific, tame response to the harsh aspects one might be like 'a well-conditioned heifer standing to the plow,' that is, willing to accept the direction of those in superior positions. Being docile and tractable is not a bad thing if those one is trusting are trustworthy. Someone has to do the 'subordinate' work. But if the pressure of the aspects is too much, one might be like 'a woman suffragist haranguing.' This is not confined to protests against sexism but could be any reaction against those who do not grant one 'suffrage' or the chance to speak one's piece and influence events. (Many are indignant against media control of free speech.)
Blessing: Luna's position squaring Pluto on one side and Mars on the other could show we are able to mediate between extreme positions. 'A person holding up a scale in his hand, with even beam' is 'a just person, who will spontaneously detect a falsehood, injustice, or wrong.' This feels like a 'healing' symbol to me. One side may be more right than the other, or one side may be wrong, yet justice allows each to have a say which could sweeten the final decision. Venus trine Jupiter is a fruitful aspect, 'abounding in goodness' as is 'a pear tree loaded with large ripe fruit.' Good influences can flow from us spontaneously to cure discord and strife. Let us embody peace.
