We are "preparing the way for a higher manifestation," as if plowing the substance of the mind, our consciousness. I believe everyone is doing this, albeit without awareness of exactly what he or she is doing in most cases. Humanity's spiritual evolution is happening, no matter what the seeming side paths. I believe you will see this more convincingly beginning a week from today, March 13. We are in a "relay race" because with Mercury retrograde we are reaching back to past experience and knowledge in order to take the "torch" from it, its current vitalizing value for us and our future. Thus we are fitting ourselves for "the race's race" toward something better.
The foundations of our progress are in writing, architecture, sciences, literature, philosophy, technology, drama, music and the arts. We cannot grasp all this at once, but by working with what is relevant, or turns up, at every hour, we are led forward gradually and surely. We are finding that if friends disappoint us, the "larger friendship" of the human race---the work of all discoverers and creators, now available free online and in libraries---sustains us until the next tangible human friend comes along, and makes us more able to appreciate her or him. Then we can celebrate! through individualistic self-expression.
The day's symbols are hinting at things probably beyond immediate total realization. There could be pride and ostentation along with good fortune, while we display ourselves in "a fine chateau with gardens and terraces." "A strutting peacock" may be thinking "Thank G*d it's Friday." "A woman gathering grapes with which she fills many baskets" is ourselves rejoicing in benefits we have reaped, and sharing them among long-term or temporary associates who are "gathering together." Some of our designs have met with success.
