Tools both physical and mental are being used in sharp ways to cut through obstacles and even design fresh venues for gain. One might feel one is in unknown territory: "A horse saddled and bridled and galloping away without a rider." A desire to escape restriction (Saturn square the sun) is strong and one should be careful that one does not run off too far in a direction one does not comprehend.
"A man distributing papers among a multitude of people" could be literal or electronic---distributing digital "papers" or posts. We may be aware of "electronic journalism" or be doing it ourselves, even if it appear superficial. Yet there is a search for something solid and reliable, even protective. Intelligence and stability of character are a haven and a refuge for the weak, " a trilithon [as in Stonehenge] with an iron gate." We may demonstrate that ourselves, or be beneficiaries of others' independent pillar-like protectiveness.
Some "find fault with the opinions of others for the sake of controversy." No kidding. Being critical is all right, but hyper-criticism is a folly which destroys all chance of peaceful and healthy compromise. Rather, we can retreat to, and then act from, "a great headland over which the sun is rising." The magnitude of God's creation inspires us to take a broader view of fellow humans as well.
"A broken bottle and spilled perfume" warns against carelessness and profligacy, as did the horse riding off at a tangent. Yet intelligent activity is possible, and the "spilling" might be our personality diffusing itself impressively (as if perfume) when we let it make an impact on others. This could happen while we are in "A group around a campfire," that is, being amiable with those who support us just by being fellow human beings willing to let their hair down together.
