The more difficult part: Complications in local travel, communications, technical matters, or relations with neighbors. A desire to hide away, to some degree, yet a willingness to face mental or intellectual projects and stay with them toward completion. Mercury in Virgo, the sign of its exaltation, square Mars and Saturn, sharpen the mind and keep us trying to learn and understand more while demonstrating skill. The self-discipline required of writers, technicians, accountants, and artisans or mechanics is intensified but in a way which could make such practitioners proud of themselves.

There is the harsh fact of Saturn being at focus in a T square (with Neptune squaring it from one side and Mercury from the other, those two being opposed) and this is evident in what is going on in politics. It may get even more intense in the coming week or two as Venus joins the melee. I am happy only that it appears that all--or at least a large number--are starting to see Donald Trump's true colors. About time! The symbol (Charubel's) for the degree Saturn occupies, and shall until August 29, is "Cross-swords. A person always at variance and involved in quarrels and broils." Could that be more accurate? 

The smoother part of Wednesday: Luna trines Uranus and joins Venus, which suggests the "glamour" I have mentioned in recent days. You are glad to be yourself in some ways! You don't mind what you see in the mirror and are glad of what you share with others through your personality. It resonates with those who appreciate your colorful uniqueness. And this "narcissistic" (if you will!) side of you (oh let's call it legitimate self-appreciation) does not conflict with the side of you which is all business now, getting things done efficiently.
