|Karmically difficult or sobering third| of this week continues (through Thursday)

A one-star day because Luna forms an opposition with Neptune and a square with Saturn as well as the sun. Mars however is sextile these latter two and so we have true grit to keep us going.

On Tuesday I am feeling the |difficult third| and I can see that it will be challenging tomorrow. I have four unusual things I need to do, or ought to, on Wednesday and trying to do them all will make the day feel like a battle. Unless I can get that calm inner attitude which make things smooth. I hope so. You might be facing a similar backlog of things, challenging you to handle more than feels comfortable at first. If we keep at it patiently we can triumph gently (that last adverb because Neptune is involved).

Looking at the chart for the coming fortnight, that of the Crescent Moon, from Thursday December 3d to Friday the 18th, I feel encouraged. The stresses seem less intense. The Conference on the Environment in Paris is extremely important, as I have already mentioned. Please do not downplay it or minimize it in your consciousness. Jupiter in Virgo is calling this conference. Jupiter in India is called the planet of the guru, and in the West that of the priest, pastor or professional counselor. He is calling us to straighten out the mess we are making of our beautiful planet, in no uncertain terms, with the squares focusing on him from Sagittarius the sign of international cooperation. He is in Virgo the sign of cleanliness. Virgo rules the small intestines, which nourish us and also which get rid of the poison and excess we don't need. This is what needs to be going on on a planetary level and this Conference can do it. I need to inform myself more about it; have not managed to do so yet but it is going on for another week at least. It is intended to produce major global guidelines for reducing the impact of our bad habits on our environment, health, children, grandchildren, future.

That is the stressful part of the chart for the next fortnight, and the stress is appropriate because it is something that needs to be done. The "good" or pleasant part of the chart, which encouraged me, is the fact that Venus in it has no hard aspects and plenty of "good" or easy ones. This is in stark contrast to the chart for the previous fortnight, ending today (Wednesday, its final day) in which Venus had only harsh aspects. Most of us felt that as uncertainty about finances, for one thing, and perhaps a sense of lack at the beginning of the holiday spending season. It was also uncertainty in love, relationships or friendships, or a feeling that they were unsatisfying. That changes beginning Thursday, or so I believe, although Friday might be a more solid beginning of nicer things, smoother feelings and greater prosperity. Venus in general indicates what people want, the desirable. It was in its own sign in the fortnight ending, but had very harsh aspects. Soon in the next fortnight it will move into Scorpio, a less congenial sign for it, but with excellent supporting aspects, major and minor, from the sun, Mercury, Pluto, Neptune and Uranus. 'Tis the season for some jollity.

But not yet. Let's get through this bitter, painful or challenging Wednesday with the best attitude we can summon, as a preparation for happier moments. Coming Soon!
