\Somewhat Merry/

|Karmically difficult or sobering third| of this week continues (until mid-day Saturday)  **
/moon goes void-of-course at 4:50a PT | 7:50a ET | 12:50p UT   *
until it enters Virgo at 7:20a PT | 10:20a ET | 3:20p UT   **

I played hooky from these forecasts by attending the Washington State Astrological Association meeting Thursday. What a wonderful group of human beings who also happen to be astrologers! I don't have much time to report, but will say:

Virgos do not always have a sour temperament, but I have noted that some of them unfortunately become "sourer" as they get older. A sharp lady at the meeting said that Virgos feel they have to point out whatever is wrong. True, and sometimes they go too far and point out imagined wrongs which are not wrong or not as wrong as they think. The moon is in that sign today so you may note some of that behavior in people. However, the sun and Mercury in Jupiter's sign are in a close trine with that planet and so the holiday spirit can be with us to a wonderful degree. If you want to do Christmas cards or notes or letters or whatnot, this could be a perfect time, or maybe for shopping if you can avoid being overly picky. There could be good results in the worlds of technology or mechanics.

A ninth house emphasis could help thinking or talking about philosophic or religious or spiritual topics.

Venus is just beginning a ten-degree square to Uranus and conjunction with Pluto, emphasizing a more sensual side of that square than we are used to. This could be strange or abnormal or kinky sexual desires over the next couple weeks, which could be explosive or end in cruelty. Well, that is a heads up (as well as a tails down), so for today we should focus rather on the deeper loving peaceful side of things, the Solar-Jovial square. Merry Coming Christmas!
