The sun in Libra is in the sign of its fall, and by the ancients who discovered that it was not a play on the word "fall" meaning "autumn." It is quite literally the sign in which the most stack market crashes have happened in recent history--in 1929, 1987, and 2008 to mention a few. Of course the Market does not go down automatically and mechanically every September-October, and this year I would expect (perhaps too optimistically) that it will continue its rise because the sun will be trine Jupiter in Aquarius, while Venus and Mars will form a sextile. Of course I might be wrong. "Too many variables" is the simple reason predictions of something as complex as market forces easily go astray.

Today we are free of the Via Combusta which covered Sunday and Monday. We have Prime Time until the moon in Scorpio goes void of course at 8:34p PT | 11:34p ET | 3:34a UT. Ordinary things can go fairly well. Career and financial prospects get a mild boost. Of course while Mercury remains retrograde things can be slow. For example I intended to purchase several needed items on a shopping trip and then forgot some of them, requiring another trip, but I am too busy with other things so am "doing without." Stuff is late; people make peculiar errors; and are dreaming of things other than the immediate situation so can be absent-minded and unreliable. The mess in Congress over health-care reform is probably a good symbol of something else in your own life which is involved in complexity, uncertainty and indecision.

But the moon's sextiles with Mercury and Saturn today could help in sorting that out, at least provisionally. Luna also squares Neptune, so I would say, be very realistic about practical matters, which you can do well, while at the same time indulging internally in idealistic dreams (Neptune) which inspire you although you wouldn't be foolish enough to spill them out to anyone.

One danger is that you could be too easy and soft on yourself, internally, while outwardly rash and wounding toward someone who seems to block your way or challenge you unfairly. A sense of sportsmanship could help, giving an opponent his or her due while remaining firm about your self-interest.

Research or study could strengthen you and your plans. You are honest about the results, not wanting to be misled. So you could impress people with your scrupulosity, although not trying to impress. What's what is what, is your attitude.

Those who are merely using financial forces to get for themselves, with no higher purpose, may disturb you and yet play into your hands because unwittingly they serve your personal agenda. You have courage enough to care about ethics while proceeding toward generous benefits for yourself, knowing that a temporary reduction of gains, apparently, for the sake of integrity is ultimately a greater gain.

You may feel you want to articulate your personal desires and your unique approach to life in a way free of conventional rules and usages, yet need to conform to some of those along the way. This does not have to be a disturbing conflict, but an exercise in flexibility. Something you would like to do for entertainment, which would link you more happily with others, seems to require a sacrifice. You will be able to resolve this when you realize you are able to provide what you need for yourself and others in the situation.

The angels of selflessness are selfless toward you when you try to be selfless toward others, or at least certain others close to you. Before long this turns out to be a boost to your career and income as well as intangible happiness.
