Whose vicious tendencies invite restraint. Yet
Even the caged bird will sing, and even iron
Doors can open. A firm goal develops powers;

A canoe approaches safety through dangerous
Waters. Accepting risks and exigencies
Forcibly fosters competence. Then when life
Calms, one walks like a portly man among pigeons

Flocking at one's feet. Home and the care of children
Make one benevolent and attractive, inspiring
Faith and confidence. Ministering to human needs
Unfurls a white flag bearing a red Maltese
/
Cross, emblem of a noble mind with pure
Intentions. Puny obstacles fade away.
