We still have the 'dilapidated coal mine' to show how Mercury slowing down, plus Venus retrograde, can make us feel that everything is in a state of abeyance. Yet "a man distributing papers among a multitude of people' is an enthusiast and partisan, a reformer, probably distributing digital 'papers' these days. There are lots of them on every issue. All may seem chaotic, yet we are 'ascending a spiral staircase within a dark enclosure, with sunshine at the top' so we can anticipate better luck with projects eventually.
'Men cutting through ice' are hacking away at the wintery prospects of the winter signs, Capricorn and Aquarius, which contain five planets. Organized effort is needed to procure personal and community necessities. All the while 'a hidden choir is singing,' calling to worship of the One who unites human beings in a universal pattern, a power for the good of all.
'An ape seated before a mirror' is perhaps a superficial worldling, vain or self-obsessed. Yet she or he could succeed with powers of adaptation and expression, as in acting. 'A garden of many-hued flowers' provides us with friends and admirers. All seem genial, kindly and sociable when they tune in to Venus's and the sun's sextile with Neptune. The artistic and ornamental flower into happy associations. There are natural beauties plus elements of concord and amity.
