}Direction Examined{

What we desire can be sensuous and get out of hand, unless we keep ourselves in check with moral or ethical guidelines.

The sublime and the beautiful have a big share in our consciousness (Venus conjoined to the sun, both trine Jupiter, from Leo to Sagittarius).

One can be audacious in pursuing gains, with a fair amount of luck. "Less is more" may be true when it comes to technology. It is less burdensome and more daring to use fewer tools, aids, or encumbering processes.

People have strong directions which seem to have been formed in their youth and it seems impossible to change them. If one detects that one is on a wrong trajectory, it takes enormous will-power, faith, and prayer to change course, and one can succeed only by the grace of G*d Himself.

An aimless tendency, drifting through life, lets wealth dribble through one's fingers.

A meal with beer, wine, or other stimulants may be shared. Or non-sensuous delights are at hand to be enjoyed in a childlike way, "Children on a swing in a huge oak tree." Some such summer delights cost nothing.

We are not out of the woods when it comes to the Mercury cycle, which does not enter the Bright or Clearly Progressive phase until August 15. And so there are delays and necessary backtracking, and reconsidering of things until we "get it right." This could seem harrowing today because we are also in the |difficult third| of the week and the moon is in the Via Combusta. Patience and faith are both essential. People will seem to be wrong, or is it oneself that is wrong? Or are both neither wrong nor right but struggling toward what is best, unable to "be there" before they "get there"? That could be what is really going on.

Moon in Libra
|Karmically serious or sobering third| of this week is with us (until Tuesday at 9a PT | 12p ET | 4p UT)
We are also in the < Via Combusta until Wednesday afternoon
These two together mean, Don't submit to hopelessness. The storms of doubt will pass.
