~Role in a Pageant~
We still have the interesting symbol "A giant amusing himself with a child's doll." It may be that we are unconsciously accepting the lesser instead of aspiring toward the greater. This would be natural when Venus is exactly trine Jupiter, giving us a lot of leeway for pleasure. It could be rich eating, for example, or other luxuries. The "doll" is fun to play with but what are we shirking?
During the past almost-two months, since June 20, we may have felt like "A large camel crossing the desert." We had to depend on the resources stored up within us rather than on what we could get from our environment, which seemed often desert-like or unsupportive. Persistence in our course has demonstrated inherent adequacy. The long journey continues, better we hope beginning the 14th-15th.
There is magic in a universal display of personalities and skills, "A pageant." This could be more evident after the moon enters Sagittarius (time below). Among friends, or friendly strangers, we find them and ourselves demonstrating amazing superiorities, ambitions, powers. It can be splendid, gratifying mutual admiration.
