~Tense, Doubtful, Internally Mobilized~
Moon in Cancer
|Karmically difficult third| of this week continues (through Sunday)
I don't pretend to predict weather, which naturally varies over the globe, yet it seems that the "atmosphere" is at least mentally chilly, even "frozen" while the musical of that name takes over Broadway.
It all seems tough as brickbat, coinciding with the Washington appointments of Pompeo and Bolton to head important government positions. One of the symbols for Thursday, when Bolton was appointed by Trump, was A man rushing along on horseback, sword in hand, to meet a company of armed men. Violent and fearless. Trouble through rash acts. c This is exactly the image of Bolton we get from accounts of his past and his hard-nosed hawk positions on matters international and military.
A large iron cross lying on the ground. All looks dark, sad, and gloomy. There is perfect stillness; not a ruffle nor sound of any kind. Suffering, gloom, darkness. c
A man sowing in the wind. May use faculties to little advantage. Dissipation. b
Indians rowing a canoe and dancing a war dance. Mobilization. s
A person climbing a rock in the midst of a fierce storm. Flashes of lightning reveal the figure in dark outline. It appears strong and climbs well. Force of character. Efforts finally crowned with a position of security and comfort, after passing through perilous adventures. Uncertainty, Peril, and Final Success. b
A man standing with a tankard in his hand ready to drink. Two others standing apart, talking together, with averted faces. Evil habits through low associations. May suffer through envy and intrigue of comrades, and drift with the stream into unpremeditated evil. Weakness. b
A very small unpretentious window in the wall of a massive tower. Abundant native powers and mental resources. Independent of external aids; happy amid offspring of his own genius. Creator, not imitator. c
A woman in pastel colors carrying a heavy and valuable but veiled load. Reticence. s
These seem to fit with the |difficult third| of the week. We feel weak, perhaps, or lost, or ashamed. Yet we can climb through "peril" to "final success." The creative person living in the turret tower, and the maybe pregnant, reticent woman, have found some internal secret they cannot share outwardly except through being who they are.

Moon in Cancer
|Karmically difficult period of this week continues| until it
ends at 9:30p PT | 12:30a(M) ET | 4:30a(M) UT
A man riding upon a horse near o the edge of a cliff, and looking down into a valley where people are at work. Qualified to govern others. Placed in a position not without its dangers. Attainment and honor but possibly catastrophe. Superiority. b
A large iron cross lying on the ground. All looks dark, sad, and gloomy. There is perfect stillness; not a ruffle nor sound of any kind. Suffering, gloom, darkness. c
Indians rowing a canoe and dancing a war dance. Mobilization. s
A man sowing in the wind. May use faculties to little advantage. Dissipation. b
Green everywhere; every object is a dull green. At the same time everything is on the move. Seeking rest but not finding it. Makes changes but still as far off from the goal as ever. c
A man playing with colored balls, an immodest woman standing behind him. Playful but careless. Given over to pleasures and unprofitable pursuits. Crossed by the opposite sex. Little force of character or worthy ambition. Foolishness. c
An open window and a net curtain blowing into a cornucopia. Munificence. s
Desire and frustration, desire and frustration. Attempts which have their interest even if they fizzle. Yet the Indians know how to mobilize, and there may be munificence through serendipity (Luna trine Jupiter).
