Message for Friday 9 March 2018

Friday 9 March 2018

^Floundering Toward Pleasure^

Moon in Sagittarius
|Karmically difficult third| of this week begins at 7:29a PT | 10:29a ET | 3:29p UT (until Monday)
/moon goes void-of-course at 6:29p PT | 9:29p ET | 2:29a(Sa) UT

It's hard for me to write this without being depressing.

I am suffering a long illness and it is hard for me to keep up with these reports. Apart from the illness, I would have already been reporting on the Dark Hermetic Epoch which begins today and extends until May 3. Those of you new to these reports have a lot of catching up to do. I cannot repeat a complete exposition of the Hermetic Epochs every two months. I expect you to have read these reports in the past and know something about what they mean.

Anyway, we need to be prepared for the "dark" or "slow" or "devious" or "confusing" or "difficult" or "out-of-pattern" things that always happen during the almost two months of a DHE. All is not lost, but it may seem that much is lost, which is why it is so important to know about these periods--to keep one's faith up and know that it is a temporary situation.

Compounding it are the squares of Mercury and Venus with Saturn, mentioned yesterday. They began during the past week and Mercury's square with Saturn (at worst, depression; at best, firm study and awareness and sharpened intellect) shall continue through the whole DHE because Mercury happens to have its station (motionless moment) while square Saturn. We need patient realism.

The Venus-square Saturn aspect is even harder, emotionally, and lasts from about Tuesday March 6 through Monday March 19. "Suffering" is a general keyword for it, I am sorry to say, but at best it might be termed "Love learning how to be love through difficulties." It deepens our natures, testing us when it comes to friendships and relationships. We ask ourselves, "Whom do I love, who loves me, and what does all that mean?" It can be a period of spiritual evolution at its best. Who and what is reliable? The only answer, for me, is G*d. And so this can be an avenue to understanding the deep love of G*d which goes beyond our limited understanding of what love ordinarily means. I wish you the best in that.

Symbols for Friday:

A giant of monstrous dimensions.  A prodigy of some kind--maybe in stature; maybe in mind.  c

A flag-bearer.  Nobility.  s

A woman sitting on a tombstone in the act of weeping.  Sensitive and sympathetic. Lover of the shady side of life more than the sunshine.  c

A helical scroll.  Undecided, changeful, fickle. Lost in a multitude of projects and imaginings. Imagination runs riot with reason.  Wandering.  b

An angel blowing a trumpet.  Will publish to the world some important message. Preacher, lecturer or popular person.  c

A wood, in which much wild undergrowth abounds, and many plants of different kinds and colors.  Rustic nature fond of country beauties. Not much learning, but natural wisdom. Prodigal of energies and wealth.  Ruggedness.  b

Two lovers strolling through a secluded walk.  Enjoyment. s

You may mix and match to get insights from these.

Cosmic Piper

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive;

The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up . . .

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting.  Amen, and Amen.

--Psalm 41

b: Signor Borelli, 19th century clairvoyant; interpreted by Sepharial who was Walter Gorn Old
c: Charubel, 19th century clairvoyant who was John Thomas
s: Sabian symbols which came through psychic Elsie Wheeler, interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones

The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
