Venus went into Aries, from Pisces, a couple days ago. I am feeling this now as a problem. The smooth, easy consciousness of Venus in Pisces, which was with us from March 12 until Tuesday April 5, is gone. Now we have the rather brittle, self-centered consciousness of Venus in Aries, a position of her detriment. If you have this in your birth chart, don't despair, you can learn to live with it happily. But when it happens in the transits it can be a feeling of lack of sympathy with other human beings. I felt it Wednesday quite strongly and was depressed by it.

However, Venus is trine Mars in Sagittarius, so there is love in the air, of a sort, if we can tune in to it. It may be less of the easy sort and more of the sort which requires respect or admiration from others. If we feel we are not getting that we may feel loveless. Those who believe that the Supreme One loves them have an advantage, a spiritual security which frees them up to love themselves and others without deep doubt and stumbling hesitation.

I don't' know about you, but my Wednesday was rather gloomy, with a lot of backtracking and slow work, and a sense of imprisonment-- the Part of Fortune and several planets were in the 12th sector ruling imprisonment or self-seclusion. As mentioned in the forecast, it was not a bad time to be alone.

A lot of that continues today, past the New Moon, although things may seem somewhat brighter. The moon has been void-of-course often because of the way the planets are aligned at present. That will get better gradually from now toward the end of April. During today's "void" period you may feel like a child just learning how to walk again. Yet there is charm in re-learning things because each time the process is refreshingly different as well as reassuringly similar. 

We are transitioning toward the Dark Hermetic Epoch which begins a week from today. It can be a happy time but less straightforward and more dreamlike. While we have another week of the Bright Epoch it is good to consolidate plans, such as business or financial, or whatever is important in your life. You could get them in solid shape to last you through the more confusing Dark Epoch of April 14 through June 6. 

We need to manifest our own cheer when things seem cheerless. It can be done, especially if it comes from deeper soul-sources, in the manner of a plant or flower surging up naturally in the rain and sunlight. Again: Those who believe that the Supreme One loves them have an advantage, a spiritual security which frees them up to love themselves and others without deep doubt and stumbling hesitation.
