It's the weekend, and yet I have to talk about work, business, projects, what you are trying to accomplish. I seriously believe that most of us will find that seeking pleasure today will just make us more depressed! I am not a strong proponent of "the work ethic" because I have always believed that other factors such as shared entertainment and happiness are part of the purpose of work itself and that the labor would be pointless without them. True. Yet there are times, and this is one of them, when the swing of the scales goes to focusing on one's serious purposes and trying to further them in a practical manner. The time is ripe for that, and it may not last a whole lot longer, so whatever you are trying to finish up or achieve, as a foundation for better things in your future, could be what you need to be doing today. You care about your financial condition and whatever you want to give to the world through your activities (usually called career or mission). And there is nothing blocking you from attending to that with all your soul and energy right now, and doing that will prepare you for better things in the near future.
That is my pep talk and I am going to try to take it seriously myself. I did on Friday--I had spent the day in concentrated practical focus but thought I ought to go out for entertainment in late afternoon or evening. Yet I found that would have been a serious interruption to what I was trying to finish. And I probably wouldn't have gotten this forecast written either, or would have struggled to do it at 3 in the morning. So it was actually a relief to drop the planned entertainment and stay home with my destiny.
The astrological correlates of all this are: Sun, Uranus and Mercury in Aries (a "get it done" sign) trine Saturn (realistic endeavor) in Sagittarius, and Mars also still trine the sun; the moon today in a sextile with both sides of that trine so that energy goes naturally to one's goals and ambitions rather than mere pleasure or entertainment. Venus, the planet of enjoyment and consummation, has no aspects at all. So she is not suffering but does not need attention, as it were; she is content to be at peace and content with whatever your deeper self is trying to do. You will not feel an intense need for companionship, most likely, but will take it for granted as something which will come, go, and return naturally whenever it is important. One could put this bluntly as: At present it seems that people for you are means to ends rather than ends in themselves. That doesn't sound nice or ethical, but it sort of describes the feeling. You care about them (Venus remains in Pisces the sign of her exaltation, universal and individual love of an exalted sort) but you don't feel you have to devote your present attention to them as much as to your "business" or the work you have in hand. (Of course, if that work involves caring for people or aiding or teaching them, they remain paramount, but perhaps they themselves will want a more practical rather than sentimental approach.)
This could be important because the Bright Hermetic Epoch, when we see more clearly what we are doing and how to do it, continues only another twelve days until April 14. After that we may be "mopping up" or settling things in a more laissez-faire manner rather than continuing with the major thrust forward which is possible now.
(If you belong to a religion which takes this day as a no-work day, the above will mean something else to you--the "work" in hand could be spiritual or in the mind more than with the hands.)

Yesterday's trends and suggestions remain in effect until the void-of-course time in late afternoon or early evening. So re-reading that report could be worth while. Luna's sextile with Mercury is exact at the v-of-c moment, so all the hours before that could be filled with intelligence, wise perceptions, lucky insights and useful strategies.
The |difficult third| of this week begins early Monday and continues through Tuesday, so those two days may feel like tests of what you have put the finishing touches on this weekend, but apart from the usual downward mood swing there is no need to worry. Venus begins a ten-degree trine with Mars--could there be love lurking somewhere and almost ready to emerge sneakily?--tonight and this continues through April 19. Getting your serious work or effort on a project finished this weekend could set you up for something nice indeed.
