I am writing on Monday during the < Via Combusta plus / void-of-course period I commented upon in the Monday forecast. And it has been just what I predicted, at least for me--"What am I doing here? Do any of my plans or agendas make sense? Or should I go out and have a drink?" Rather than this last alternative, I ate a little more than I had intended and had a second pot of coffee. I feel better but resent the fact that I resorted to material rather than spiritual expedients. 

Then, after sitting at the computer to write this, instead I started fiddling with Facebook and spent at least an hour there, which I seldom do. "Liking" things and hoping I would be liked for liking. Is that really what "social media" means? Something like that, sometimes. But also there was interesting information and humor and beauty. I was experiencing Venus's position in Libra, a sign of beauty and harmony, through the "social" Internet rather than face to face with anyone. Nothing wrong with that if it's not all we do. It re-establishes contact in an easier, more convenient way than a phone call or email. 

Tuesday should be a better focus, because although Luna continues in the Via Combusta she will no longer be void-of-course. However, both Sol and Luna in Scorpio (plus Mercury) while the moon winds down to nothing (preceding the New Moon Wednesday) presages a period of deflation, perhaps, or "Oh all this doesn't make much sense, does it?" However, that is not inescapable. There is creativity as well as criticism in Scorpio, in fact the creativity proceeds from the irony, often. "If it's really this boring or deadening, then let's create an alternative universe" is a Scorpio sentiment, often unconscious yet effective.

I keep saying that this is a time in which material affairs, business, and finance, as well as health, could undergo positive change or planned progress, and I believe that. Through the 17th, at least, and perhaps longer. Today should be easier for facilitating that than Monday was, and Wednesday probably even easier yet. Some will feel that their career or business hopes are closer to fruition or that at least they have seen ways to develop that fruition. If we keep faith in that we will be able to do it. We look with a skeptical or critical eye (planets in Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn) on everything including our strategies, and then see what is wrong or missing (not too depressing, just realistic), and then can begin to rectify that, with some hope of cooperation from others (Venus in Libra). Voila!

Friendship can be relaxing and heartening, especially with old established friends. Someone else, different in age from you (Uranus in Aries), could be off in his own world or following a path diverging from yours. This sharpens the individualism of each of you. It does not prevent further cooperation when the time for that has come, probably only indirectly at present. The ones you can work with more successfully are less exciting but more reliable and established friends or associates. People in "higher" or more commanding positions in the business world, or your area of specialization, could be favorable to you, so you needn't be shy.
